 Asociación JennyStar ONG (Organización No Gubernamental), is registered by Guatemalan authorities.  The purpose of the NGO, aside from giving work to me and Guatemalan staff, is to donate ALL profits to support disabled and poor children in villages around Antigua.  By renting a DVD, you agree that your money, after deduction of our costs, will be made into a donation. 

The NGO was registered in September 2005 with Registro Civil, and with the Superintendencia de Administración Tributaria (SAT) of Guatemala in December 2005. 

The shop opened in February 2006. In September 2006, JennyStar ONG started sponsoring the full-time education and healthcare of three local children.  We have continued to support the children even during the 4 months the shop was closed in 2007.  From May 2008, we are supporting four children with money from your DVD rentals.

Our clients also donated money during Christmas.  With the money donated, we have bought each family three months of food.
